Today I have been informed about one of our Moderator willing. WWSandMan wrote:

Unfortunately I have not had the time to perform my moderator duties. I think it would be best for the RoF community to remove my moderator status and promote someone from within the community who has shown the needed participation and willingness to help. Unfortunately I cannot even suggest a replacement, since I do not have a 'feel' for the community's leading members.

I appreciate the opportunity, thank NeoQB for the chance at being both a beta tester and a moderator, but apologize for not having been able to fulfill my duties.

From my side I have to say that we all really appriciate WWSandMan's work here on Forum and as a beta tester.
Thank You very much WWSandMan!

BTW - who is willing to replace and be a Moderator?

I would be willing to be moderator. I usually lurk on the forums whole day anyway (UTC +2 timezone) ;)

I would actually nominate TX-Thunderbolt, if he's not already a moderator, and shows interest in the role.

No offense to Mig, of course, either. I've just interacted more with TX- and feel like I "know" him a little better.

Thanks. Only if he willing by himself and post it here.

Just my opinion:

Mig would be great but also Thunderbolt and I was also thinking about Jorri, if they're interested.

I think Mig would be a good moderator: I fly and talk to him regularly and he seems very sensible.

I would enjoy being a moderator, and I sure hang around enough and think I can be objective. But to protect myself from getting sacked for being on the forums at work too much, I will settle for Mig this time :P

Thunderbolt is a fine chap also, good candidate.

Just reading through Mig's posts ( http://riseofflight....0&submit=Search">search.php?keywords=&terms=all&author=mig-77&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search ), I would agree that he'd make a fine moderator, too. ;)

Both TX and Mig are great on the forums

Mig gets my vote as he is a bloody good RoF pilot (flies both central and entente exceedingly well), highly knowlegable on WW1 flight and history and has a balanced view IMHO.
So no disrespect to Tx and Jorri! - but Mig 77 4 me

Cheers

MIG and TX Thunderbolt are persons with good behaviour (like Tvrdi already said)

But I would also vote for Jorri (if he wants)

Looks like it's going to be Mig, which is great :D

He might just want to change his signature, though ;)

Also, thanks to WWSandman for his moderating!

Congrat for Mig-77!

So, last call for TX-Thunderbolt and Jorri:

Are you guys willing?

Please, no more discussion here. Will be hardly Moderated. I need only two answers from them.

Thanks.

Lefty:

Thank you for the offer. However, you have found your mod and I have other things on my mind at the moment, so I respectfully decline :)

Best of luck to Mig in this!

I appreciate the vote of confidence guys. It looks like Mig is already "in". As for me, right now, I'll gladly place my name on the "if you really need me list" but like Jorri, I have so many irons in the fire, I doubt I'd be as effective as is needed right now.

I'll still be around though and if things become a bit more desperate, I'll do what I can for the community.
