FYI, i play with a mouse.

Every time I go to make a turn, it just starts to spin and fall out of the skiy, which kinda taje the joy away from flying it. Does anybody know how to avoid this when turning, while playing with a mouse?

Make sure your speed is up, the gotha goes into a spin like that because it stalled, keep your speed up and don't try to turn right after take off

It's a bitch to fly with an expensive stick, expensive rudders, and a dual throttle unit.

Good luck !

Do yourself a big favor - get a joystick.  Any joystick, even a really cheap one on eBay, is going to be waaaayyy better for the Gotha and any other RoF plane than the silly mouse control.

But yeah, keep your speed up and don't try to climb too sharply to avoid that stalling out behavior.

Logitech 3d pro is a good enough one, doesn't cost to much, and works, probably shouldn't buy a super expensive one unless that's what you want to get but the 3d pro is only like $30 so doesn't strain the budget too much

And note...

When on the ground - the rudder effectively doesn't work.

You steer with ailerons - but wait !!

Opposite ailerons - i.e. right to go left and left to go right.

Whilst keeping the nose level.

What could possibly go wrong ?

But yes, as advised above - get a stick.

Absolutely nothing. Seems intuitive enough.  :icon_e_wink:
