I have a product key but I was registered as freeplay

I installed a retail copy of the game which I had for years. This is my first time to register. I played the game for a few minutes years ago and I was not able to control the plane. I thought I would try again this time since I found the game in a box yesterday.


I did not see a place to register the game. I have a product key.  

now I am registered under freeplay and I could not play the 10 planes the product says I can use.


Please advise thanks.

Welcome to the Forums!


As long as you log into your new copy of RoF using the same email/password info you used to use with your old copy, all your purchased content/planes from back then should be available to you in the new copy.  You do not need to "register" your game again or anything like that. Just be sure that you log in "online" at least once with your new copy of the game, so the master server can update your copy with the information about the planes that you own.


That should work, but if for some reason it does not you should probably open a ticket with the support folks and let them sort it out for you.
