Error #5: License key not activated

Im a returning player. I played this game for years, but i when try to login, this comes out "Error #5: License key not activated".
My licenses were bought through steam, around 3/4 years ago. No gray markets or anything.

I tried to make a new account to see if it was a local problem, and I can enter the game with a F2P account.
 

The problem is serverside.

Has anybody faced something like this?

Welcome back.  

 

Not sure exactly how things work with the Steam version, but have you tried doing an update/recovery (or whatever the equivalent for Steam is)?  Lost of folks seem to be getting this error if/when they haven't updated their game for a while, and doing that seems to work for many (at least on the non-Steam version).

Not sure exactly how things work with the Steam version, but have you tried doing an update/recovery (or whatever the equivalent for Steam is)?  Lost of folks seem to be getting this error if/when they haven't updated their game for a while, and doing that seems to work for many (at least on the non-Steam version).

Yes, i even tried reinstalling the game completely.
This looks more like a serverside problem.

I tried contacting, support, as some posts here suggest, but I guess that this being an old game, and the current coronavirus situation, they workflow is slow.

Finally got a response, now it's fixed.

If someone has my problem, just contact support via ticket, they'll fix it.

I'm getting exactely the same error message.  Allthough I've bought some content a couple of days ago, I'm not able to use this content, because the login procedure during start up doesn't allow me to go online.

I've opened a support ticket like you've recommended, also a couple of days ago, but still no answer .... .

 

It's a shame how things go on here with customers who are loyal since many years, and who are willingly paying for new content. 

Simultaneously those customers are not allowed to use their purchased contents.

Well, regarding my first support - ticket I still haven't got a single answer :angry:.  After waiting for mor than one week I opened a second one - asking for a refund:

I still cannot use the content because of not beeing able to go online; going offline is not a problem.

I'm royally pissed off with this company, and highly recommend NOT to buy ANYTHING from them. 

 

Wheter it is Riso of Flight, or Flying Circus, or IL-2 BoX, or anything else.  If you buy anything nevertheless, don't wonder if you cannot use their products after paying for them

are you sure your using the right log in stuff?

 

What do you mean with "log in stuff" :huh: ??? 

 

There is only one tab with the label "online" ....; nothing someone can do wrong.

Your email and xword are above 'login online' and 'login offline'.

I think Falcon was just referring to that, i.e. make sure they're correct.

I'm having the same problem... When i try to activate my keys again, it says most of my keys are now invalid and one is already in use... Reading about the lack of support is very disheartening. Guess i have to stick to FC.
