S!

Video capture software!

Find the part you like in a track. Get it all sorted out.

Do some dry runs playing it over and doing the camera tracking etc.

Then do it again but record it with the video capture.

Do this very every shot.

Editing software.

Lay all the shots out on the time line with the in and out points all nice.

Add sound track etc.

Export video/Render .... be cautious with size and quality.

I used this once and it was ok :

https://www.nchsoftw...opad/index.html

it's not free but it is still developed I think.

and they do video capture as well... though maybe the video editor can do that too?

MSI afterburner can capture video but I am not sure how good it is....

https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner

and I have no idea what the Predator video capture thing is all about.... there is no button to click for it...

Next, make a youtube account and then find the upload button. Mash that and away you go.

Best advice:

Plan all your shots in the track, Make notes and write down the time and duration of the bit you want

and how you want it to work.

ie.

at 2:04 in the track shoot the pilot view as the Dr1 narrowly misses crashing into my right wing. 2 seconds long.

make sure you NAME all your video file in some rational order and indexed with the shot list !!! and takes.

For example you may try the same shot many times so each go is a take. Take 01 take 02 etc.

Be prepared to add other shots in between so maybe count in 10's for the basic shots. ( Shot 10 take 01 ...)

So really you need to watch your track and then consider how you are going to do the "camera work" etc

and the great thing is you can do it over and over again. Yey!

Maybe start by just taking stills and make a cartoon of images.

Then start to work out how to link them all together.

Story boarding if you like.

Good luck!

Knalp.

PS. and if you are recording a flight which you have control over ( ie it's not multiplayer stuff)

you can track record the same thing over and over till you get it right BEFORE you even touch the

video capture software. So you can get silly complicated fast! S!
