In Flight Map - Resized?

I was flying along and when I toggled my in flight map.  It suddenly changed from a small "lap board" map to covering almost the entire screen blotting out everything.  Yes... I know I can change the transparency of the map but I want to go back to the small lap board version that just popped up that I could move around the screen as I desired.

This change happened in the middle of a flight.  I had not gone into the Options menu or changed anything else.  I simply pushed the button I have mapped to my joystick to toggle the map on and off.  I tried to "grab" a corner and edge of the map to drag it to resize but that didn't work either.

I've been in the options and settings and cannot find a setting to return the map size.  Was this an update of some kind?  If so, I would like help returning it to the original map.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Welcome to the Forums!

I'm away from my RoF PC so probably can't help, but hopefully someone will drop by and give you the answer - I'm pretty sure that there's a toggle to switch between map views and you probably hit it by accident or something simple like that.

This is how it is with me. When I hit the key that I have mapped for the map, it pops up one of the corners, and does not cover the entire screen. When I right click and then double click on the map it expands to cover the whole screen. From there I can move it around and zoom in and out. When I double click on it again it goes back to being small in the corner. And then I just need to right click to get back to being able to fly again. Hopefully this helps.
