Just took this up for the first time, a bit tricky at first. There is a lever on the left side, pull back to retard, forward to advanvce. What does it control? I have the mixture and radiators mapped, can I map this lever?

The only mappable engine controls are: start/stop, mixture, throttle, altitude throttle, radiator, where applicable. Multi-engine planes allow throttle and radiator per engine.

This may be right. The ignition timing advance/retard looks like it was only used in starting the engine, so no need to use it during flight and not mapped in the controls.
