Hi all, I've been away from ROF for a few months (mostly playing Il-2 BoX in the meantime) but I tried playing ROF again today and found a weird issue: the elevator and ailerons react to my joystick inputs when I'm on the ground but as soon as I get airborne they no longer react. Rudder reacts as normal.

I hadn't uninstalled ROF while I wasn't playing, and my hardware setup hasn't changed in the intervening time, so I'm stumped as I can't see how anything can have changed.

Any ideas?

That's really weird. I'm not sure what would cause something like that, sorry.

You don't have double control assignments, I suppose? Something that may cancel your joystick? Maybe the throttles? When is the exact moment it stops working?

I didn't think so, but it's not impossible.

As far as I can tell, the moment control goes is the exact moment the aircraft lifts up off the ground. It's very strange.

I haven't tried one, in all honesty. I'm at work at the moment and on a late shift so I might not get the chance today, but when I can I shall give it a try.

Problem resolved, and embarrassed facepalm time...

I was tinkering with ROF last night and I noticed that there was a checkbox for mouse control which was inexplicably checked... D'oh!

Problem solved, but it was weird the joystick worked on the ground but not in the air.

Thanks everyone for your input, and sorry for wasting your time guys!
