Hey JGS4 T.

     I am just firing up the ol game after some time away and I got the error "Side by side config is incorrect". I downloaded the Microsoft download recommended in another post and seemed to work. Only issue now is I am unable to update from the start window (Game just shuts down) and I am unable to see any multiplayer servers? Single player (career) seems to work fine?

You may want to save folders like "data/input" and then do a complete re-install of ROF to get the servers working again.

I just had to do a complete reinstall on a new set up.  I ran into the same problem.  Here is what I found:  I was missing a Redistributable Package or one was damaged.  I did not have the 2008 package.  Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package:
