What the title says. Yeah, FC is coming, but I might throw a few more bucks at RoF yet.

there is generally a summer and winter sale but not garanteed. But it is when the whim takes them. No real way of predicting when a sale is on

I would say buying a couple of aircraft to bolster the game is doable even without a sale. Couple of bucks for an aircraft is not breaking the bank. Get what you need now and use the sale to bulk buy when you can.

For instance with a few bucks on a Alb DIII and the free DVa and you have good scope for a Central 1917 campaign, that will give you months of gameplay.

Hey Steve, thanks for the reply. You're right about the costs they won't kill me for sure.

I did get some extra planes on the last sale and I have a pretty decent, playable set now:  D.II, D.III, DVa, DFW C.V, Fokker E III, D VII, D VIIF, DR.1, Pfalz D.XII For Central Powers and Airco.D.H.2, Nieuport 11.C1, 17.C1. 17.C1 GBR, 17.C1 RUS, 28 C.1, S.E.5a, Sopwith Camel, Spad 7.C1, 13.C1 and Felixstowe (for Channel map) for the Entente.

Didn't think I had a two-seater, but I do in the DFW.

I bought mostly on a desire to cover the entire period available and on Trupow's (?) recommended list.  I have mods for some, but not all. Regrettable when I play a x1.5 map in multiplayer.

Any glaring omissions that you can see? I'd like some more Sopwith versions and some more mods for my more well used MP aircraft especially.

Since you have the Channel map and the Felix, I think you might want to consider picking up either a Brandenburg W12 (to have something to attack the Felix's with) or a Hanriot HD-2 (to have something to escort the Felix's and/or attack the Brandenburgs) - the seaplanes give you the same fun of water take-off/landings as the Felix's but fly more like fighters once you get them airborne.

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

Yes, thanks, picked up a couple more planes and mods (ok, more than a few!). Looking forward to more flying!

I couldn't agree more. I've made a point of buying a few planes and extras, just to do my bit in supporting the game if nothing else......Hell, I'd buy the whole damn lot if it would keep the game going a few more years.  :icon_e_wink:
