I have nice photo's of Eurofighter with Spitfire, but with a Spad is quite a sight.. and good to see it was struggling to keep up, with the Spad !

I'm sure that Spad turns better than RoF's - maybe we can get a FM review ?

Thanks for sharing :icon_e_salute:

Thanks, is great to see.

The Spad pilot obviously knew how to set his mixture correctly :)

Not that many good videos of Spads flying irl. Maybe there are in French YouTube channels or Daily Motion - just thought there'd be more given the long service period and central roles in French and US air services

Answer to THE Spad13 question at 0:22 - "How do I start the engine". You need a guy to swing the prop :D.

If you noticed he swung the prop in the opposite direction of engine running. ;)

Yes,but with terrifying ineptitude! That might explain the lack of handlers running to my assistance ....

Great video btw, thanks for that Papaflo! at 0:06 - 0:011 there looks to be a mock dogfight, very cool. Can our vet players ID all the craft in that fur-ball?

That was great! SPAD footage is rare on the net for some reason. Not many of them around I guess. The sound was amazing!
