Just the AI.. it is actually quite nicely reproducable once you´ve figured it out. The trick is to have two planes with a slightly different LD polar and the worse plane goes below, ie: the AI plane on top needs to be able to glide slightly better than your ride, then you can hang of off some "hard physics parts" like the wheels


If the difference in glide is too significant, you will slip off, but with a DH4 with bombs  and an early Brisfit it works excellent. The DH glides better, but with bombs under the difference is really small.. so you just need to fly under it and pull up, gently until you touch the wheels and then a bit more to go through the wheels, forward enough to break both engines. The AI will then turn a little left and right, as it always does upon sustaining damage and you need to ride that out with a bit rudder and aileron.. once straight, just hang of the wheels and wait for landing. Super fun!
