Hi all!

I'm trying to find a copy of the "S.E.5a No 56 Sqn Pack, Late 1918" as created by hq_Reflected and described in this post. The link to download the skin pack on that forum thread is broken. I'd rather not fish for these skins individually by downloading entire volume(s) of skin packs if I can avoid it. I was not able to find a link to this pack on the "Useful Materials" forum thread either.

Can anyone please help me find a working link where I can download this skin pack?

Thank you!

I think someone has posted a list of what skins are in what packs. I have all the packs downloaded so if anyone knows where to find that skin set you are after I am certainly happy to drop it in my dropbox and provide a link.

Collection of all skinpack readme to help find skins - from Panthercules using Skin Packs faq

Q5. How can I find out which skins are in which Skin Pack Volumes without downloading them all?

A5. I have created combined "Readme" files (one for Historical, and one for Fictional) which contain all the information in the readme files that accompanied each Community Skin Pack Volume release (the Historical one also includes the readme info from the Official Skin Pack). You can download those files here, and search through them to see which skins were included in which packs (now updated for 1.033 and Volume 19 release):

Historical: http://www.mediafire...d_Vol.1-19.zip

Fictional: http://www.mediafire...l-_Vol.1-19.zip

Hi O_Rod,

Thank you so much for your offer to collect those skins for me. I have used the helpful skin pack volume list (thanks US103_Baer) to find the exact textures I need (I've included some other ones from 1917 of the same type, if that's OK). Here are the skins' locations and file names (I can provide descriptions too, if that would be easier):

Volume 3

SE5a_102056_18a.dds

SE5a_102056_ans.dds
se5a_102056a_18a.dds
se5a_102056a_ans.dds
se5a_102056c_18a.dds
se5a_102056c_ans.dds

Volume 7
SE5a_56a18.dds
SE5a_56b18.dds
SE5a_56c18.dds
SE5a_56_19170407.dds
SE5a_56_19170826.dds
SE5a_56_19170925.dds
SE5a_56_19180322.dds

If you can drop a collection of those skins into a Dropbox for me to download, I would be much obliged!

Thank you!

Thank you O_Rod for sending me the files, but I think I may have to download and install the entire Vol. 3 and 7. I'll also consider J2_SteveF's advice about installing all of the other skin packs (only HDD space would be tight for me). Does anyone know the total GB count once all available skins are installed (official, historical, fictional, others?)?

Thanks!

The folder in which I have all the approved skins installed (official, historical and fictional) is a bit over 41 GB.

The PWCG skin packs total to approximately 59 GB.

So, approximately 100 GB worth of skins total, give or take a few.

I have all the historical and fictional skins running. With my limited knowledge of what happens when you click exe files maybe some more enlightened person can tell me if it does little more than unpack the dds files into the appropriate folders ingame. If this is the case then I should easily be able to extract the requested skins and put them into dropbox for you.

As far as I know all the skin pack installers (.exe files) do is unpack and install the skins (and their associated preview pictures) into the correct folders, once you tell them where your have RoF installed (or otherwise want the skins installed for out of game testing or whatever).

If the OP really only wants those few specific skins posted above, he can find them here, along with the preview pictures (in a JSGME-ready package):

http://www.mediafire...r_for_JSGME.zip

It can be unzipped and installed via JSGME, or alternatively the data folder can simply be copied into the main RoF folder.

And there is the answer from the master of the skin:)
Hope that works for you Badger, if not though I can still send just the skins you requested.
Cheers

Thank you, Panthercules, I think that did the trick! And I appreciate all of the others who contributed help too <S>

HDD space is tight for me, but I think at some point I'll also download the "official" and "historical" skins packs (should total to about a little over 20 GB or so, based on Panthercules's numbers).

See you in the skies in my newly-painted S.E.5a  :icon_e_salute:

Actually, the Official and Historical packs total to around 14-15 GB.

Even better!  :)

(Sorry, I should clarify that you didn't mention that specific "20 GB" number in your previous post; I meant to say before that I was doing my own {inaccurate} extrapolation from your "40 GB" figure).
