Ground Crew

I guess one oddity with Rise of Flight is the seemingly and eerily "Ghost town" atmosphere of the Aerodrome. 

 

I noticed in this video (3:42 minute points) A ground crew. 

 

Where is this mod?

It's probably one of the mods on my list of favorites, found here:  https://riseofflight...-favorite-mods/

 

My guess would be that it's the Soldiers Package #1 v1 by SYN_Vander, but it might be one of the other SYN_Vander mods (you should get them all anyway, as I believe that PWCG uses most if not all of them for its missions).

I don't know Panther. I downloaded every file you suggested. 

ROF Soldier's Package #1 By ...Vander

ROF Static Onjects Package#1 by ... Vander

ROF Vehicle Package #1 by ... Vander

ROF Ground Objects Package #1 by ... Vander

Soldiers Package 2v4 (SYN)

 

Still no ground crew

I also downloaded Pat Wilson's Mod and still didn't see the ground crew.

Maybe you should try this one:  Static Planes ver.5.0 for 1.034 (lefuneste/ActionJoe) (also linked to on my favorites list) - perhaps some of those static plane objects included accompanying ground crews.

It would make that engine start up more realistic to have at least one ground crewman flinging your prop or hand cranking the starter coil spring.

They need to be added to the mission. They wont automatically appear in game when you enable the mod.
In fact I think the Soldiers package is now part of the game.
So doesn't need the mod anymore

I think we should start again here; the ground crew seen at that point are static figures available in the mission editor. They require no mod.

 

For engine starting, an animated mechanic would be feasible but in practice he would have to materialise out of thin air. Also there's the question of what happens when you land-out somewhere then have to restart your engine? Is there a handy mechanic waiting behind every tree?
