The Strike Fighters 2 Series, if you like Jet aircraft from the Cold War era. It is not as detailed and complicated like DCS and there are many mods for it on the Combat Ace site. It has a kind of dynamic Campaign, maybe not as detailed as WoFF or Falcon BMS but still fun. Also there are many many possible scenarios such as the Vietnam War or Korea. Downside is that it can get expensive to buy all the titles in the series, and for many mods you will need all the titles. And it is not in active developement anymore. If you go for one of the tilte,I recommend to get Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam first.

Dann ist Schluss mit "Tischlein deck' dich", da gibt's "Knüppel aus dem Sack"!

Not sure if it has Zeppelins.

In fact I have not even tried it.

I think it's great though.

In theory.

BUT it has had an update!

( Scroll down a bit to check this for yourself. )

and a forum!

I am not sure if they have massive bun fights like we do here. maybe they do?

Can someone try it out and then do a review. I am too drunk. Again. sigh....

Gads! A rat! Like blinking small dogs. *bang*.

Dispatching rats while drunk in your dugout is bad for your hearing. What?

Well you could try
world of warplanes
war thunder

MS-CFS3 using the free packs: ETO, PTO, Korea, solomons, rising sun or MAW
Battle of Britain II wings over victorie 2.13
Falcon4 never did play this game, contains an intresting campaign mode, as I did read here.

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

I will have to check out some of these titles. I am looking from alternatives to Rise of Flight that are in the flight simulator niche. These games are always my favorite, but I am definitely drawn to those that are realistic, offer good visual effects, and reasonably affordable.

Lots of RoF people have moved over to BoS/BoM. It's the best WW2 MP option at the moment.
