It looks kinda like the early period model, but the way fuselage is made speaks more of a late period.

1st flight 14 July 1916. Entered service in 1917. 130 made. Ceiling of 20,000 ft., max speed of 50 mph. 1 vickers gun. It was actually a well designed and effective fighter for its time. It really didn't get a chance to show its stuff.
