Free camera feels wonky

The free camera (F11) feels extremely sensitive to me, to the point of being almost unusable if I want to look at planes closely or take screenshots. It just swoops past the intended point. Is there any way to slow it down? I've seen some great screenshots and wonder how people take them.

Thanks in advance :)

Other than maybe turning your mouse sensitivity down a bit, I can't think of anything off-hand.  If I get some time later tonight maybe I can experiment a bit and figure out if it's something else (if someone else doesn't beat me to it).

There is a slow button - I think I have it on left mouse but that might have been rebound - that reduces the camera movement speed by about 80%.  Check the key bindings under "camera" to see - it says something like "camera slow mode" IIRC.  It is still a bit tricky to get exact placement of the camera, but possible with patience.
