Ive only seen this in an old game from back in the day called Master of the Skies The Red Ace and I have no idea if these colours actually existed on the Halberstadt. Has anyone else seen these markings?

Welcome to the Forums!

Man, that's one ugly paint job.  Never seen one like that, but that doesn't mean much - there were some pretty strange color schemes on those birds, so I suppose anything is possible.  Maybe they thought it would give them a few seconds head start to escape while the enemy pilots sat stunned wondering who in the world would paint their plane that way :)

BTW -  since the other section is just for actual submissions of historical skins for approval, I've moved this thread here to a more appropriate section of the Forums.

LOL Panther  beauty is in the eye of the beholder, anyway it is possible the colors are a little bright, but they are similar to the camouflage of the day.

This is example of day time use on the underside.

Well yeah - it just looks like they told the guy to use up all the scraps of paint they had so they could throw the old cans away and get some new ones for the other pilots :)
