Hi all,

Can someone do the following

Make a Morane Saulnier L out of the N11

Make a BE2c out of the RE8

Make a Fokker E1 and E2 with a Fokker E3

Make a Fokker D2 out of the Fokker Dr1

This is for multilayer

to create the correct flight models I will have rules on how to handle the planes throttle and mixture.

The server will be called WW1 and will feature early planes and will progress through the war.

Tell me if you are interested.

I will provide the skins for the early planes if anyone is interested.

Thank you

How are you tweaking the FM?

As far as I know that is locked.

Mods on or off the FM stays the same.

its not really tweaking the FM but more like changing the rate of the X,Y and Z axis so that the Fokker behaves and maneuvers slower. the problem with this idea is that some people wont respect the rules and will cheat so... any ideas? or should I create a password and grant access to certain people?

If it's going to run with Mods on and it is possibble to change FM, then you'll need a gentemans agreement.

In terms of faux skins, Pheonix is your man. He's already knocked out some Moranes and Bleriots using the E3.

I am not a fan of AI in MP missions and yes it will have to be gentlemanly. I will contact Pheonix about the skins. I might add some planes and set the gunners to cease fire all the time and the pilot has to shoot with his hand held gun. Early war is not very popular but I will see how it goes. The server will be with mods on. I experimented changing the response curves for the Fokker and came up with satisfying results. This change will have to be downloaded before entering the server otherwise the Dr1 behaves like a normal Dr1 which is not good :icon_lol: .

If you're counting on a "gentleman's agreement" with online internet players in a competitive PvP setting, to not abuse the FM differences between a DR.1 and an N11, the *only* thing I can do is wish you luck -- you're going to need a *lot* of it...

This was posted in the wrong subforum (that section is only for actual submissions of specific skins for inclusion in new approved skin packs), so I moved it here.

Interesting concept, and rife with potential problems of course, but what the heck - if you can get some people interested in joining such a mods-on MP server and people have fun, why not go for it?

That Be2 mod from a Re8 can be found at this forum, so I would start with this mod and show us your FM results!

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

The flight model itself wont be changed but the response curves will so the server will need the players cooperation :icon_lol:
