If you're talking about the DIII, you're going to like it less after the patch. If you mean the DXII, it should be improved a bit.

Both to more realistic values though.

Hi,
To me the Pfalz are my favourit german (most of all DIII)
Flying it, the climb rate is quite the same than other germans like Albs. Always except DR1, cause it's truly appart for many things. Pfalz D12 is very close to Fokker D7, for the feelings in it, and the perf i have.
When you're used to it, Pfalz DIII is an easy manoeuvrable plane, if you keep enough speed. The best part of it, is it strongness in every situation. I've never lost a wing or else in any strong dive. It can handle lot of ennemy shots too. Easy to take off, and to land even a bit broken, pretty stable when firing, visi not that bad for me, It's definitivly a good fighting plane. And turn rate is surprising, always with enough speed and rudder too.
We can make nice acrobatics after few hours of training ;)

Is it just me or does the Pfalz DIII fly… goofy since this latest patch. I've noticed more torque in the engine (which I wouldn't expect to feel because of the big wings). But more unusual is its climb. I find that the plane catches in the air when you find a certain climbing angle. I'm not sure if its a sweet spot or maybe the opposite of a sweet spot. Or… It might very well be my imagination…

Hi,
Yes they change something since 1.009…it's not the same plane. It's heavier and it lost speed too. I don't like it as before

Pfalz DIIIa flightmodel was not correct, it had a too high performance because it used lower wing model of the DXII. That was confirmed by NeoQB.
You can say that pfalz DIII had climbrate and speed of Pfalz DXII..before v1009….so this was fix…

On the other hand I believe the D.XII has become faster, it seems faster in level flight at low altitudes than the D.VII but climb rate is slightly inferior, at least thats my impression. Can somebody confirm this?

But in my opinion it dives too slow. I was overtaken by a Dr1 several times. And in the level flight it's the slowest german plain now.
I hope they'll fix in the future.
