Welcome to our newest recruit Corporal Hobbs! Hobbs is named after a 103rd pilot who was lost to archy fire in June of 1918.

Glad to see this squad going strong! Sorry I couldn't hang out the other night - was sorry to have missed you but duty called me elsewhere.

Thank you Hunter!

It's great to be a part of the 103rd. I'm studying up on the Spad 13 and can hopefully tame this crate before too long.

Cheers,

Gorman Larner

P.S. Just saw your note JG1_Butzzell and thank you. See you in the sometimes unfriendly skies.

I went to a local Waco air show and found a treasure! I got a new banner for my office sitting right above my monitor! I can look at it with joy every time we shoot down a bosch machine!

They also had shirts so I'm their best customer now...

Daze,

It's been pretty slow because of the summer. I'm on in the evenings EST a few times a week. We primarily do Player vs Player on the Wargrounds server depending if there is anyone else on the server to fly against.

Check out the site if your interested, pop in to TS and say hello when we are on.

I was referred to you guys because i was looking for a NA-timezone Nieuport squadron to fly with. I've been flying sims since i was maybe 6 years old, playing aces of the pacific on a DOS machine. I put in many years in Il2 Sturmovik both in airfrag, World at war and even helped make some custom mods. Now i'm new to Rise of Flight.  Do you have room for another Nieuport Driver?

Salute 103, glad to see you boys posted to the front.  Just a friendly invite and reminder, J2_SteveF and I host the old "Syndicate Vintage Mission Sundays" over on our server.  Also, been trying to get a little something going during the week, "Wednesday Night Fights".  Just a little informal get together featuring one of the slightly smaller syndicate maps.  All welcome, unlocked fuel loads, no particular focus on objectives, just good fun :)

Airmen of the USAS!

The Bosche has had it too quiet for too long!

With Summer winding down, I'm looking to get more active in the game this fall/winter. Hope to see you all in the skies soon.

Matt,

We would be glad to have another Nieuport pilot to turn back the Huns. If you want to swing by our website and register we can get the ball rolling.

MattDizzie...

Please let me extend a warm invitation to join the US 103rd.  Hunter is a terrific squadron commander.  Just don't get too close to him if he is piloting a Handley-Page.  He tends to hit the self-destruct button...

The Air Service will be flying tonight on the Wargrounds in our weekly main event with JG1 et al.

Last week entente was pretty outnumbered by the hun hordes!

We are recruiting pilots for the allied cause! If some of you allied loners want to work with a team then hit us up! (click my sig picture to go to the site)

Application processed in record time! I got the clerks to work through the night by threatening them to cancel their Paris leave!

The 103rd would like to welcome our newest recruit to the front!

US103_Furlow AKA Lonley Crow's application has been accepted for service in the 103rd Aero! We have been flying with Crow for the past week or so and he is already an accomplished scout pilot and a welcome addition.

Named for George Willard Furlow who joined the 103rd on July 25th 1918 and remained with the squadron until the end of the war. He ended the war a five victory ace. His kills included one Albatross, three DVII's and a Halberstadt C. He was part of First Flight with the red noses and flew a SPAD VII and a SPAD XIII number 8.
