Hi,
Its my impression, based on what I have read about it, that the Nieuport 17, although it was a bit more fragile than some others, didn't fall apart as easily as is modeled in the game.
It would be nice if the developers made it a bit stronger so that it keeps its wings a little while longer.
Thanks

I'm yet to rip the wings off the N17, or any plane for that matter, unless the wings were already very damaged from enemy bullets.

I have not been able to finish a mission without ripping the wings off by dogfighting. The last one about 15 mins ago I had not been hit by bullets.

Do you think it's because of too much speed or too many g's? What are you doing to regulate your speed?

I think the wings are fine. This was the dawn of flight. These machines weren't made of the sturdiest material. The Nieuport 17 is a pretty decent plane. You just can't do high G dives or turns. It also isn't as sturdy as any of the German planes that are currently in the game.
