RFC No.11 Squadron No.7018, 1916

RFC No.11 Squadron aircraft, Lt Lionel Bertram Frank Morris, pilot; Capt Tom Rees, observer; both killed near Marcoing, France, in the first credited victory of Manfred von Richthofen on 17 September 1916. Nineteen-year-old Lt. Morris, mortally wounded, nevertheless landed the aircraft intact behind German lines.
