I think the next new plane will be something shaped like a penis. We don;t have nearly enough planes shaped like a penis yet.

I sincerely doubt that their will be a next plane in ROF and we will be damn lucky if they review the FM's. :(

Ah, well, I think there WILL be more planes in RoF. Tell you why.
Anything that can be made as DLC can be transferred over to Ilya Muromets and vice versa. Muromets is "early WW1" and that's where the next plane should come from. As we have a dearth of early aircraft. Really, it's getting interesting now, I'd compare it to Third Wire, where the engine is used for multiple historical periods. And I have no problem with it at all.

Aviatik or Albatros two seater, please. ;-)

Incidentally, folks, please go and see the Dornier project at RAF Cosford if you get the chance. Went a few months ago, highly recommended.

Used to live in Deal, if you look out across the channel, there's the Goodwin Sands, which is where this one came down.

Sorry, back on topic…. ;-)

I do appreciate some of the sarcastic banter we get on this forum although the underlying reasons and frustrations for most of it do seem a little grim & forboding! Some of the best giggles I get anywhere is here nowadays!

Albatross C.III for me for next plane if we get one. The Be.2 is a solid candidate but I feel an earlier central 2seater is needed more. The Re.8 is fairly representative of the Be.2 at a push tbh for now I think given what we are still missing overall, although a C.III, Be.2C twinpack would be very pleasant. :S!:

They could do Fokker D.VI and D.II since they share many parts from the Dr.I and E.III respectively. Of course their flight models must be completely different from the Dr.I and E.III,but I guess it would be kinda easy to make them.

I think that the Ilya Muromets will be next,I think some clever person will find a way to inject into ROF,more likely AI.
A screen shot from ROF Create new Server, I could get the mission load, run but the map and landscape was not right.

I´d love a Be2 as well as the 3 engined caproni… but maybe sellingpoint wise, the Siemens Schuckert planes would be good. They are just dam sexy beasts and where amazing climbers..

(even though I´d prefer earlier planes)

Yes, but it was a "rare" plane, there were no more than 50 of them on the front during his career. Albatros/Aviatik/LVG C counted in hundreds.
