If you have any problems let me know. Software developers are often not the best documentation guys and that certainly applies to me. I looked at that thread and made sure that it looked good. If there is anything missing or not clear then let me know and I will try to improve it.

Getting ready to do a test release of 15.0. Here's what it has so far …

15.0
Added plane limiter to mission generation process
- Limits number of planes that will spawn in a mission.
- Completely changes how a mission plays out.
- More and better encounters.
- Allows many more planes and flights to be included in a mission.
- Planes stop spawning when the limit is reached
Add Observers and Gunners
- Two seater squadrons now have observers as well as pilots.
- Strategic bomber squadrons have pilots, observers and gunners.
- Observers and gunners can improve, and die independently of the pilot.
* Still need to figure out best way to handle scoring
- The player can choose to become an observer.
- Get an observer's badge if you are German.
- Ability to transfer as pilot or observer.
- You will have to put yourself in the observers seat when you fly.
Added ground unit victories
- Added ground victories to your pilots record
- Ground victories are awarded only when logs specifically define the victory
- Ground victories are shown in the pilot log book after air victories.
- Ground victories are shown in the squadron log book.
- Ground victories figure in recon medals for player and AI.
- Ground victories figure in skill advancement for AI.
Add AAA to key locations
- Towns, railroads, and sometimes bridges
- Ground setting in simple configs must be medium or high.
- Increased spread of AAA at front lines.
Added use of abbreviated ranks instead of full rank
- Saves lots of space.
Added award of Pilot and Observer badges
- Pilot and observer badges for all nations
- Bavarian or Prussian for German.
- Thanks Louvert
Changed config
- Main level config (from main screen) is now only UI related configs + some prefs
- All other configs are now at a campaign level
Out of mission victories for AI pilots now have a type from a nearby squadron
- Used to be "Enemy Aircraft"
Transfer and base change flights
- Fly to your new location on trabnsfer or squadron move
Bugs
- Fixed no AAA around ambient balloons.
- Fixed flood of medal awards after first mission.
- Fixed possibility of German pilot being awarded higher rated medal before lower rated.

Pat, I think it is about time 777 put you on their pay roll. At a minimum all new a/c and modification should be gratis to you in my humble opinion as you have enhanced this game tremendously.

15.0 looks like a game changer. Thanks again for your continued efforts and enhancements.

May I help for testing?

By the way, Hans Immelmann died at his 41 mision with 37 kills October 1916. Right before the Alb DII arrived. Pat, PWCG is a great mod. with 14.4, I think i have found settings that put me close to the OFF Campaign feeling. Salute to you!

I was chasing a Pup the other day and it just kept climbing.
I was in a Albie D3 and was having trouble keeping up the chase, but, at about 3,000m he just disappeared.

Is that normal? I have version 14.4

I was soberish too. I think.

Have you set plane deletion to 1? How far have you been away from him? You can alter "junk flight distance" in the mission limits, I think. may this helps, but Pat surely knows best.

Have you set plane deletion to 1? How far have you been away from him? You can alter "junk flight distance" in the mission limits, I think. may this helps, but Pat surely knows best.

Many thanks.
I have not used or even heard of 'plane deletion' or 'junk flight distance, I will look them up.
I have only recently joined PWCG so a lot of the finer points have not been discovered by me yet.
As for distance away from that Pup, I was perhaps 100m below and 300m behind.

Spaq: Those are advanced configs. I wouldn't go too far with it. Planes being removed or not spawning at the right time/place is a software issue that I need to fix.

lets hope the flying into the hangar at the rear of the plane has been solved. Still can not figure out how some flight members manage to fly into the hanger that was at the back of his plane. Maybe those pilots use the reargear at takeof.
Problem in this case is that these left over flight members always seems to have a new task and that is circling around and I have to go as a lone wolf.

I don't. It's too confusing to have enemy bases and troops on your side of the visible mud. If the moved front were on the kneeboard map, it might be okay, but it's not.
