.

Greetings All,

As promised in a related thread and now ready for your consideration is the skin pack for 3ème Escadrille, (Feuille de Houx), of the Belgian Air Service. This group was based at De Moeren (Les Moères) airfield in 1918 and flew a variety of plane types with the Breguet 14 A2 replacing their aging Strutters early in 1918. Included in this pack are unit numbers 2355, 2371, and 2374, along with a default skin for the squadron, (per the suggestion of Panthercules). Historical data and photos referenced in the making of these skins courtesy of Belgian Wings website at http://www.belgian-wings.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.belgian-wings.be

Here is a shot of the escadrille's flightline showing all four skins being offered:

And here is the rar file download: 3eme Skin Pack Download

.

Thanks everyone, and Cheers!

Lou

Louvert very nice. Thanks for taking the time to make flying this bird that much better. Too bad we did not get a SPAD 7 style release for the BR14 from 777 with both the B2 and A2 versions.

Yeah - that would have been nice - several of the American units also seem to have flown a lot of the A2s, based on the skin information I've seen, and it would be nice to have both in the game. But there are also so many other cool planes that aren't here yet that it's hard to quibble with the dev's priorities in working on other things first/instead.

It's too bad RL things like money, time and resources have to get in the way of getting everything we'd like to have in RoF :(

Panther I would buy it if they made it. Heck I am so glad for 777 I buy every plane they make. Looking forward to the HD1. Still a Br14A2 version would be welcome as half the skins we have are really A2 versions. At least soon we will see more "French" bombers with the Sopwith 1 1/2 strutter on the way. :)
