Hi Guys!

This is a ten skins pack, for my virtual squadron "Escadrille N / SPA 62".

This first pack is coming with 10 Nieuport 11C1 in clear fabric finished. They are numered 1 to 10, and they don't have any other personnal marking (it's close to the reality).
Each plane has is own serial number (based on real serial numbers).

Looking at the number 6, it's close to the real "6", silver doped finished, Adjudant Paul Tarascon personnal's plane, nicknamed "Zigomar"(Nieuport 11 n° 1159, captured in june, 30th 1916 with Lieutenant François Mouronval).

I have reworked the template, and try to make 10 differents skins (the weathering is the same for all this planes), the "Coq" insignia is in various shade of black, red, blue and so on, it's close to the reality. Have look on the Albin Denis site, it's a real "gold mine"!

I hope you will enjoy them.

I am working on some other packs for my squadron, coming with Nieuport 17, Spad VII, Spad XII, Breguet XIV and then the Sopwith Strutter. I am going to make a second Nieuport 11 pack, in green/brown finished.

Forgive my poor english!

Have fun

I voted yes because they are absolutely wonderful, but I would like to change my vote to no, because there is one skin that does not have clear national markings on the wing. Unfortunately I can't change my vote.

But I do think they are absolutely wonderful.

Thanks

The real number "6" was repainted in silver dope, and upwings cokades were hidden, like most of the camouflaged Nieuport 11.

Du grand art Obelix!… Même si l'on connait bien, depuis des lustres le très haut niveau de tes "œuvres", eh bien, dans mon cas je ne cesse de m'étonner a leurs vues !…

Great art Obelix !… even if you are a famous "skinner", every-time I see them I am always amazed !…

If these are based on historical aircraft, like the silver Zigomar, why did you put them in the fictional poll? ;)

I guess it could be told "semi historical" rather than fictional, but they are also "fictional" because they are used for a "virtual squadron"…

Not the same fonts for the "6", serial number dfferent (n°1159), and there is no nickname "Zigomar"…

Hey Obelix - I've gone ahead and fixed this one pack, but since you say you'll have more coming I need you to get the D/L packages more compliant with the requirements for your next pack(s).

Specifically:

1. Don't use any folders in your submission - just put the 3 required files for each skin (.dds, .jpg and .txt) in the .zip file, without any folders or subfolders.

2. You have to have one .txt file for each skin - NOT one giant combined .txt file with all 10 skins.

3. Only include the 300x100 preview picture in .jpg format - you do not need to (and should not) convert them into .dds format - the devs will do that in a batch process when they construct the skin packs for release.

Thanks,

Panther
