I noticed that you covered all the metal parts in wood. Did you change the alpha layer as well to get rid of reflections where the metal should be?

Ah. That is an error. Well spotted. Must have gotten lost in layers. Would you suggest removing the reflections or making sure its not painted over ?

If it was me I would just leave the alpha layer alone as it comes in the default template. The DVa had light green painted metal parts in real life so personally that's what I'd do. Just make sure wood is where wood supposed to be and metal where metal is supposed to be. You can paint the metal parts.

Please all hold votes. Gonna make sure the metal shows. Think it's gonna be better.

Adam: I didn't alter the alpha layer. The metal was (is) on the original lowest layer.

The rest of the skin looks very nice BTW and I like the charcoal used for the black. Good job.

I must say it looks pretty decent for a skin painted all over from spinner to tail. You've also hit a great yellow. Are these only by chance the colours of the Habsburg dynasty?

Looking good. Still have wood around the engine where metal is supposed to be but I'm sure that's by design ;)

J2_Wallenberg -> Took some time to make that colour look good. Previous planes (Pfalz and Fokker Dr1) have much brigther yellow unfortunately. Still improving :D

J2_Adam -> Last metal detection took me at least 1 hour last night. Yes the rest is supposed to be yellow.
