This is J2_Enth's personal Albatros D.III skin. While he originally had a completely different idea of what it's going to look like, I boldly took some liberties; also to show off what Adam and I theorized about dark and light fuselages on Albatros aircraft.

EDIT: Increased brightness and "rejuvenated" acaroid resin varnish. Thanks to J2_Adam for his helpful review and assistance!
EDIT2: Again increased brightness and used anisotropic filtering for the screenshots.

Updated download link for .zip containing .dds + thumbnail + .txt (Same archive, different .dds file)

2 minutes for the first "no" vote; this is bound to be a new speed record!

This wooden color of the fuselage seems unique to me. Yes!

The resolution of the crosses on the wings seems very low? Just me? Also I prefer a lighter skin but this is still nice :) S! J2

His anisotropic filtering is low or off.

Exactly this, my system is very low-grade. Surfaces at sharp angles look very blurred…

Thanks!

I can't thank Wallenberg enough for all he's done. I'm glad I was able to contribute to my design by hand-scribing the decal for the Fuselage…I just don't have the tools or the ability (Yet…) to be able to do this myself.

Once again… Thank you, Wallenberg, for taking my ideas and sprinting with them! I will be proud to fly this!!!

You're welcome, Enth! Also, you asked at the right time, where that dark fuselage colour haunted my vision!
