Haha, sour grapes. Remember, we didn't want them for our pilots.

I'd like it to be the Diiiau D7, but realistically I'd plump for parachutes.

Not entirely true :) Ask TC (or find some of his old posts about it).

New guess: Hand dropped bombs/grenades…

Would be useful for some of the early mounts.

I guess I missed something, but what is this FISH?

Historical photos have turned up with a carved fish stuck on the wing of a Roland C.II… Could make an interesting field mod.

Has to be….Pilot Mustache Mods…

Oh, I'd trade half my ammunition for a Monocle.

My guess, parachutes. They will need parachutes for BoS, and everything will be done with an eye to that now IMO.
If it is parachutes in RoF, I hope its just for Central, and not both sides for 'balance'.

Oh, I'd trade half my ammunition for a Monocle.

A new personal package?

Apparently (and if we believe wikipedia), flying with monocles was practiced by some in Luftstreitkräfte as benchmark of flying skill. One of few aces that the fledgeling Polish air force inherited from Luftstreitkräfte was known to be flying with monocle and daring his collegues to try, claiming that a pilot truly in control of his plane can fly a sortie without losing it. The new custom died when other pilots run out of monocles.

The story (in Polish, english wiki misses just this part)

Well the RFC NP17 is free to owners of the French NP17, and some people received the Pup as a loyalty bonus a while ago. The Hanriot would be nice to have, but it seems unlikely at this point.

I still think its parachutes :| which would be OK but slightly, whatever.

You mean the one with the holes in it? Here, take it! :P

IRL, Lewis guns were periodically used on German aircraft (Zepplin Staakens, Roland C.IIs, Albatros J.I all come to mind).

It was some type of fancy telescopic sight tath the Rise of Flight engine can't model (without extensive programming). The sight actually enlarged the target I believe.

Oigee made a telescopic gunsight for machine guns. It was used by some German pilots.

Personally I would be happy with a genuine German gunsight, even if it doesn't zoom. Since we can zoom in anyway, not totally authentic, but better than having to only use allied gunsights.
