3Dvision helix mod for RoF

I made a small mod to have in 3DVision labels and Icon in 3D.

It made me come back to 3D! I don't know if it is your mod or the new beta driver: much less "ghosting" (yeah I know it is called "crosstalk" by the specialists) and sharp contours. My setting runs it at 60 FPS on average,20-30 on the ground and around 44 in crowded situations ( and I run Nvidia 3D surround at 5760x1080).
People just don't know how gorgeous ROF is in 3D. I am not sure that Jason knows how great ROF works in 3D!
The ultimate immersion! You need to be patient to get used to it. Some work with the convergence keys is necessary according to your personal preferences but the Lefuneste mod gives some great presets to work with. And it works without switching "mods on" ; no problem with MP.
Those who have the right rig…get yourselves some Nvidia glasses and try it out. It is AMAZING!

It works well for me. However, Ic an still see a bit of ghosting, and it seems like some reflections are rendered at the wrong depth: I'll test it out some more.
But overall, RoF in 3D is incredible.
Edit: thanks for the mod. It's nice to be able to switch between depth settings on the fly with a single button.
Are there any other settings anyone can recommend?

PS: Hmmm, the W12 is especially delicious in 3D. So much detail, so much depth!

However, I had s strange problem with the 1.29 update of Rof (some weeks ago): It broke the Helix fix for all the game on my PC !! (I also made a fix for War thunder and DCS world).
I never understand why (maybe the directX update ?), I get rid of that by restoring a 1 month old backup of my system.
This time, I did not allow the DX update with the 1.29b, and all is OK for me….
So if you have system a backup older than the 1.29b can you try to restore it and see if the fix is working again ?

If you try to run RoF through Steam (even the non-Steam version), it will CTD before the opening credits. After that I've only gotten it to work again after a full reinstall.

Answering my own question. The shader crc's have changed. I seem to only be able to locate the vertex shader for labels though, not icons.Are there any way to fix it?

Are there any way to fix it?As I do not have the RoF Steam version I can not do it for you.
But it should be easy.
At first look at http://helixmod.blogspot.fr/2012/04/how-to-guide-remove-effects-from-game.html.
Install my mod. Go to bin_game\release in Rof install.
Rename d3d9.dll to d3d9.dll.bak.
Rename d3d9.dll.dbg to d3d9.dll
You will have the debug helix mode working, when you will lauch RoF you will have the red text at top of screen. Follow the instruction to disable shaders and find whose have been renamed.
Dump them to have their number (they will be in data\Dumps\SingleShaders\VertexShader).
Note which reference disable which effec (4th number of the red line, after CRC32)
Once done, what you will have to do is rename the Mod shader (in Helix_Rof_JMSGE\data\ShaderOverride\VertexShaders) with the references of the dumped shader (the number after _CRC32_ in the dumped shader name).
Shaders have multiple effects, but here is what I remember for their main impact:
1D23F3D9 => labels
7AA75D87 => jauge frames
A24042E8 => icons
C56586C => I do not remember ! I am not sure it is used…
They also act on 2D GUI and Map..
Once done, re install my mod. It should be OK.
If it's not a shader issue but a global issue, maybe you should try this
