Hi all,

Being a regular user of excellent Pat's utility, PWCG, I was tired of messing with the startup.cfg every time I wanted to change from "vanilla ROF" to "PWCG" and back (had to manually select logs=0/1 accordingly), so I went ahead and built a small utility that changes this settings automatically before calling the game.

EDIT: version 1.10 supports clearing PWCG's logs and MouseJail utility (to lock mouse into ROF's window)
x64 and x32 versions included, as long as the source code. Done with AutoIT v3.
ALERT: If you downloaded the package before 04/14/2013, check post #7 below.
You can find instructions inside the readme.txt file.
Tested in Win7/8

UPDATE: Don't know how many are still using this besides me, but anyway, here we go:

First post = v1.10 now supports MouseJail for those who use ROF on one single monitor in a multiple monitors setup.
More info on: http://www.dr-hoiby.com/MouseJail/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dr-hoiby.com/MouseJail/

NOTE: I'm not affiliated in any way to MouseJail, just thought it would be useful for others to know about it.

Cheers.

So you can put one one screen the map and on the other screen RoF.

If I wrote something in this forum that is hurting or abuse a member, organisation or country? Let me know by pm for the corrections, please do not react back by bashing/trolling/flaming or other personal attacks!

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

Dann gibt's Heulen und Zähne klammern, für das ganze Lumpenpack.
Dann ist Schluss mit "Tischlein deck' dich", da gibt's "Knüppel aus dem Sack"!

I never saw this. I will move it to the PWCG section of the forum were it can be seen by more users.

Guys, for those who downloaded the package 1.10, there's a small error in the ROF_Selector.ini included.
When packaging, I accidentally included a wrong test version of mine. The correct one (for first time users) should have this content:

[MAIN]
ClearLogs=1
Mods=1
MouseJail=4

You can just edit yours using notepad, or else, download the new package on the first post (now with the correct file included).
Obs: the "wrong" one included in the original package has the line MouseJailPath="" at the end, which will cause the calling to the game to fail if you mark the "MouseJail" option on the interface.
For those interested, "4" means deselected, and "1" means selected. The program uses this to remember what were the options last time it ran.

Thanks Jason and all, and sorry for the mess.

UPDATE: Don't know how many are still using this besides me, but anyway, here we go:

Hello,

I use your tool regularly and find it of a great help :D
I installed the new version (1.10). I have a problem with it,
instead of starting the setting panel of ROF, it starts ROF.exe.

What can I do to have the tool starting the settings (as before) and not ROF ?
I can reinstall the old version but I'd prefer to use the new one.

P.S.: I downloaded AutoIT, modified the au3 file recompile and rebuild, now I can start settings.exe instead of Rof.exe.

Hi KPX, sorry for the late response.
The reason that I chose to start the ROF.exe directly was to allow the use of MouseJail (you have to call the game directly through mousejail, otherwise it would apply to settings.exe, and not the game).
Anyway, glad to know you sorted it out to your liking.
Cheers.
