Dear Friends,

This past Monday we released to you the results of our work on version 1.028 and the first seaplane for ROF. We have been pleasantly surprised by your positive comments and that you like this aircraft. However, on Tuesday, we discovered how to apply a new set of equations that makes the physics of the interaction with water even better. This idea has come to our mind because of your strong reaction to the W.12. That is why today we are ready to present version 1.028b of Rise of Flight.

Now all planes, not just the new seaplane will interact with the water’s surface in a more realistic manner. It doesn’t matter if you touch water with a wheel or wing or make an emergency landing after losing the landing gear. This is something completely new for us and something we are very proud of and something that we have done in a very short period, just a couple days. We liked it so much we decided to release it right away.

I suspect that very few game producers can submit a new feature like this after just two days work, so I think I was very lucky. Nonetheless, we sincerely hope you will enjoy what we have created and as always we wish you much fun in your flying!

ROF Team

Rise Of Flight.

Chers amis,

Don't know if this is a result of the 1.028b update or if it would have done this anyway before todays update but after downloading the new update I was trying silly stunts on the surface and found this odd "bug"

I know a vid would show it better than a screenshot but having clipped my wings and essentially crashed I assumed the wreckage would either sink or perhaps float but the engine somehow misbehaved, the broken wing dug into the water and it appeared to get "stuck at full throttle" manically doing pirouettes about the wing and the one float that was in the water despite the engine itself actually being stoped.

I'm not sure whetehr you'd actually call this a "bug" or just some plain weird physics but it was certainly odd
