Sarah Zoom is one of our newest ROF'ers. She has been playing ROF for several weeks now. One of the great ROF rites of passage is getting your first personal skin. Here is Sarah's first personal ride. This skin was developed by someone, other than me, with a great deal of experience in making quality personal rides, for many members of our community, including me. This SPAD XIII is a semi historical SPAD XIII. The historical details include the two tone green nose and fore section and the subtle, yet tasteful, coloring of the remainder of the fabric. This SPAD also includes unique personal touches. For instance, if you will notice, there is a lovely Lotus, the personal symbol of Sarah, on the sides, plus the number seven, in a wonderful font and lovely shade of red. Thank you for your consideration of Sarah Zoom's SPAD XIII! :S!: MJ

Lovely :)

Very high praise, from a great skin maker, like you. I wish I made the skin, but alas, I do not have your talent or the talent of Brian, the maker of this great ride. I love his work. When Sarah is comfortable with the SPAD XIII, I want to get her into a SPAD VII and teach her the dark arts of SPAD VII backstab-ery. When she feels ready to try the VII, I am going to ask the same gent to make her a equally beautiful VII ride. :S!: MJ

By the way, Panther, thank you for all of the great historic rides you created! :S!:

Thank you very much Tom. Also, I really appreciate all of the fantastic books and resources you opened up to me! Thank you, in this instance, for helping me resaerch SPAD paint schemes, Tom. I promise I will cite my sources, from now on….most of the time, anyway. There is no doubt that you are going to be my favorite author, soon enough, Tom. :S!: MJ

It gets a lot less negative votes when you don't put my name on it

By the way, it wasn't really finished yet, I didn't know you were gonna put it up for a vote I just gave it to you so you could show her what it looked like :?

I had a chat with the skin maker. He is going to reduce the saturation and introduce a compelling looking fabric pattern, that will really sell the fact that this bird is covered with cloth. I will then update the screenshots and update the file, assuming that i do not need to star t the polling process over. Thank you for your consideration of this skin and your patience, as it is updated. :S!: MJ
