This aircraft, Serial No. unknown, was shown in a photograph in Schlachtflieger! It was flown by an unknown crew with Schlasta 5, and displayed standard Schlasta 5 markings of red and white stripes on the fuselage. The aircraft also displayed a red "6" on the fuselage. In the absence of hard evidence as to exactly which engine was used in this specific aircraft, it seems reasonable to assume that any aircraft flying after the 200HP engines were introduced might have had one installed during a maintenance refit (e.g., as might happen when the original engine wore out or was damaged and had to be replaced), so I have created a version of this skin for both the 180 HP and the 200HP variants.

Beautiful. Interesting design of the Balkenkreutz.

Yeah - that was one thing that attracted me to do this one (plus I just like the Schlasta 5 markings anyway). The photo showed the markings very well, but they were something of a pain to get right because of the unusual angles involved. Although there was no date given for the photo, presumably this would have been fairly soon after they made the switch from Iron Crosses to Balkenkreuze, during the period when there were a lot of non-standard adaptations being made by various groups.
