This aircraft, Serial No. unknown, was depicted in a 2012 profile by Pearson, based on information in Schlachtflieger! It was flown by Uffz. Fridolin Redenbach while serving with Schusta 27b in September 1917. This aircraft was finished in the early Halberstadt fashion, with undersurface lozenge fabric on the upper surfaces and a clear doped linen finish on the under surfaces. It had early Iron Cross markings on square white fields, and a white "1" on the fuselage.

Further information has the observer as the staffel commander Oblt Sigmund Kreitmair. I propose that this could be ANNI before the name and prowling devil-dog were added within the next month or two. The item that may negate this theory is that the location of the fuselage cross doesn't quite line up between the photo this was based on and the illustrations of ANNI, but that could be due to artists error in interpretation in ANNI profiles, or this one was repainted to a horizontal position and the chevron moved.
