Can't say anything about 3D model. I see the problem with adding such cows/horses/infantry is that they won't be animated and will just stand as statues in the field. In my opinion this may be even worse than not having them at all.

it's already optimized

Right, and exactly how do you know ROF's standards for model and texture optimization?

i's a very good cow. already well optimized. i just removed needless things like teeth, tongue, etc. also the proportions were off. it had very big head and thick tight body. i loosen it up and made smaller head. :S!:

This still has waaaay too many tri's to be a ground object for a flight sim, and without AO, its not going to look very good in ROF either.

Make your own asset and I will be happy to give you the crits you need, but it is super lame to kitbash other peoples stuff and take credit for it.

If I wrote something in this forum that is hurting or abuse a member, organisation or country? Let me know by pm for the corrections, please do not react back by bashing/trolling/flaming or other personal attacks!

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

the fact that you knew i downloaded this model kind of precludes me from "taking credit", don't you think?

if i wanted credit, i'd have showed up with the model and said it was mine.

lol, I like how you addressed the ego stuff, rather than the technical critique.

Lameness aside from using other peoples models, you would have to completely redo the model and the UVW's to make it even remotely usable for ROF. Might as well start from scratch.

If I make a zepplin , made the shell , should I make the inner iron framework and rooms and the switches and all this nonsense properly too ?

Along with the interiors of the gondolas (with working instruments and controls), gunner tubs, etc.

Post it when you're done.

My Albatros DIII I am currently working on…looks terrible without textures but I first have to optimize the geometry…also, the engine is not completely done yet and some parts are just temporarily.
I am into 3D graphics since three years

Party on!

Oh my god! I can't stop laughing at that!! I've managed to climb back on my chair now, but just a minute ago I was literally rolling on the carpet laughing my ass off. I laughed so hard I actually started to cry. I'm alone in the apartment and it's midnight. My neighbors will call an ambulance any minute now.

I mean..!!! I haven't laughed, cried and rolled on the floor like that since I was a baby…
