Another skinning masterpiece, Dubya. It took incredible skill to get that rooster hand-drawn correctly. Good job!

Hope that's not aimed at Dutch2, busboy. ;) He's a good guy and champions a well-made historic submission, no matter how colorful.

However, there are other(s) who will vote "no," simply on principal. They have been vocal on that point. That's OK. I don't necessarily agree with their principal(s), but respect it just the same.

Thanks Karma and Dutch, "S" placement has been corrected and the archive replaced.

Not sure about the 7, as it "looks" OK to me. At any rate, I'm leaving this as it is now (spent too much time on the last two projects – family wants their man back in the house!). Perhaps Fubar's completed work will properly address this. :)

Thanks for the comments folks!!! They are appreciated!

look at your own photo, you will see the 7 on the right side of the plane, is at the start of the rudder.

It was a joke from Busboy, no problems, but indeed things must be changed on voting.

I see only his Spad 13 that has the 7 in this Dubya position, on his S1415 photo [=not the S1215] from my Ospray book the 7 is [on the right side] were his rudder start to rises from the fuselage. (sorry on how to explain this)
Guess then his S1215 must be in the same position.

My Ospray book is a Dutch cheap translation from Osprays book Spad 7 aces, full of bugs, could somebody check if the S1415 digit is the right number, this could be also the S1215!!

Here in Osprey:

Attached File  Sans titre.jpg   51.27KB   287 downloads

The 7 could be a tiny bit more backward imo.
I'm not sure those 2 planes are the same…or maybe repainted.

This is not a repaint, this is a different plane.
Roques flew several SPAD VII all marked with a 7 and with his distinctive personal isignia.
This is also true for his SPAD XIII.

Fifi check the number on your last photo, this is the one I have in my bad translated Ospray book, S1215 or S1415 I think it is the S1215 so if so. the 7 must be back to the rudder.
