Hello All,
Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't the legs of the howitzer guns be spread apart (unlimbered) as opposed to being locked together like they are now (limbered for travel)?
I wonder if anyone is taking a look at this.

No I don't think all of them were that way. It would depend on the model.

Hmmm, maybe that's just the WWII guns I'm used to looking at.

It depends on the Model. In WW1 both Gun types were in use.
As for an example the German 15 cm schwere Feldhaubitze 13 (15 cm sFH 13) with closed undercarriage:

and here the French Canon de 155mm Grande Puissance Filloux (GPF) mle.1917 in the US Army and the USMC used as 155mm Gun M1917 or M1918:

These are the guns in ROF. They all have that one fixed "leg".

To sad that there are only those light and medium Artillery Pieces in the game.
Those Big Guns like the French 370mm Railway Gun etc. would be nice Targets for the Carreer mode.

Yeah we could use heavy artillery types. Aircraft didn't really work with the field artillery which did the infantry shoots, they were more the targets. Heavier artillery doesn't have to be rail guns though. How about a 6 or 8in howitzer, or a 60pdr? A 155mm? A 21cm morser?

BL 15 pounder
BLC 15 pounder
QF 15 pounder
QF 18 pounder
QF 4 inch gun Mk III

- Siege Artillery:
BL 7.5 inch Mk III naval gun

BL 12 inch Howitzer
BL 12 inch Mk X naval gun
BL 15 inch Howitzer

Wondering yourself because of the Naval Guns?
There was such an desperate need for Artillery by the British that they put even naval guns in Service ashore.
The French with their bigger standing Army had less types of guns but better standarized Artillery Pieces also the German Imperial Army.
Right now the Game is lacking the big arty duels and arty barrages before the Major WW1 battles.
Nevertheless lets say two or three Artillerey pieces (3 Heavy Arty, 3 Siege Arty and maybe 1 type of railway gun) of each nation in the game would be an great immersion.
But for this immersion there must be hundreds of them just to give the game the "right feeling" about an Artillery war.
Alone the trains or the depots for the ammo of those guns or the ammo ships in french harbors
—> yummy targets for aerial bombardment!
