Otto's Personal Albatros D.Va Skin

Edit - Text on the side now reads "Kugeln werden mich nicht aufhalten" which translates to "Bullets will not stop me" with thanks to GO_Rennsemmel for correcting my terrible German.
Edit2 - Updated the skin as suggested, Made it darker so the orange and white don't blind people when it flies past.

Yes, looks great… the autumn scheme as lozenge… too bright, but I like it very much!
What he said. ( except I don't think it's too bright .. not compared with some others out there… )

+1 yes vote!
I like it the way it is, but if I may make one suggestion.
Go back to your psd file, create a new layer (just under the wire layer), fill it with black, and set the Opacity to ~50%.
…remake the final .dds file and see what you think of it. Maybe even post a pic.

Anyway here a quick screenshot of it with the new layer added, do you guys think It needs to be a little darker still or does it look allright now ?

Another way besides adding a new layer of black is to go to "For Advanced Users Only!" group and go to the 'Levels' subgroup. In there is the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. You just have to double click on the left thumbnail on that layer and you can turn down the lightness on the bottom of the 3 sliders.
I was making a Fokker D8 and noticed that a newer updated template had the lightness set to a lower number than the previous one that I was using, and that with my planes colors on the previous template they looked a little too bright. On top of this, some of the iron cross insignia's white backgrounds on the wings in the template I was using were too white and didn't match the shade of white used on the sides of the plane. This just goes to show you that not everything comes to you perfect even if its straight from the developers.
When in doubt, use the color picker tool. The deveolopers stated that no single color should be over 110-115 in any one area of RGB (Red Blue or Green) so with all the layers on so it looks darker (like before when you flatten it) if you take the bright orange or a white and its well over 115 in any of those channels, its going to look too bright in the game.
