This aircraft, Bristol F2a, Serial No. A-3322, was flown by 2nd Lt. H.D. Davies and 2nd Lt. R.S.L. Worsley while serving with RFC No. 48 Squadron in April of 1917, before squadron markings were designated. The red wheel covers and number "5" on the fuselage and top decking indicate that this aircraft belonged to the Squadron's "A" Flight. Davies and Worsley were shot down in this aircraft east of Arras on 13 April 1917.
