On the Nos…I always get two very quickly…a bit of a pattern maybe ? :)…anyway, always happy to try to change things if people tell me about why they dislike. I am upset because they don't care about that wish OR they feel they my get a bad reaction from me…They won't I will always thank people EVEN if I disagree…Its nice when people try to help

I like it, but the blue looks lighter than the blue you used on the Albatros ? Maybe just the screenies, but the darker blue works better with the stars IMO.

Hi

I used the same blue on my Spad, Fokkers, the Alby and this one, the tone, hue & weathering layers alter it a lot however I did wonder about this. If I have time I will try to level them , I will think about it however this one does look a little washed out and weathered. ? but is that a good thing ?? hummmmmmmmmmm

Really like the design, but you should update it to include the alpha channel.

If you are using PhotoShop, download the nVidia DDS plugin and install it. After you've saved your file as a DDS, open it back up and drag the alpha channel from your still-opened PSD into the DDS file, then delete the white (blank) apha so that only one "alpha" (besides the red, blue, green and rgb) remains. then save again and you will then have the shiny dope and metal textures in-game.

There's a quick tutorial somewhere in these pages that tells you which nVidia DDS plugin options should be used.

Again. Love your design, just kick her up a notch by applying the alpha channel. ;)

Voted yes, by the way!

WWDubya…thanks for the link…that describes it ..cheers

Here are two images…one with Inter-Pol/alpha and one without

I don't really like the "shiny" one as I like the worn and weathered look (I'm a tank guy :) )…….. but what do you guys think….

Well done! Now you are getting into the "fun" part of skinning… manipulation of the alpha "layer."

The alpha is a very powerful tool that can add some really dramatic effects to a skin. You can tone the grays down to make a dull finish, bump up the grays to create a very reflective surface, use darks and lights together to give the illusion of dents in metal and gouges in wood and fabric… it really is a fun way to create a unique finish to any skin.
