//RUS:

"graphics\Skins\SopTriplane\DFC5_StickyfingersDayDFW.dds" "xxxxxxxx" "z С-т пилота Stickyfinger "Вымышленный скин. Автор: Stickyfinger

This is to be corrected, plus - DFC5_StickyfingersDayDFW.* - that's the way to go for your filenames, it might be appropriate for others to research before they answer. I'd suggest naming the small .jpg screenshot in all lower case letters, dfc5_stickyfingersday.jpg that is then.

Plus, your .dds file doesn't have the typical filesize, might be a broken alpha layer or something?

Nice experimenting with camo schemes, though!

I noticed that your .dds file is smaller than normal (and it looks too flat/dull/non-reflective in the viewer). This usually indicates some problem with the way you saved down or converted to the .dds file, often having something to do with not saving the alpha channel properly. There are some threads in the general Skin discussion section of the forum about how to do this, depending upon which image program you're using to make your skins. (see here if you use GIMP: Dicta GIMP - your newbie guide to skinning or… (ENG/DEU) ; or here if you use Photoshop: Basics of the skinning.dds ).

Note - your file names are also too long - the max is 17.3 (i.e., 17 characters before the extension) - I would suggest something like "DFC5_Sticky_Day.dds" etc. and be sure to correct the file name inside your .txt file as well as the file names themselves.

I have extended your poll to give you more time to update your download file to meet the requirements. Please do so before your poll closes (or, if it's going to take you more time than that, please edit your first post to extend the poll by a few days to give yourself more time).

Also, please note in your first post when you have updated the download file.

Thanks,

Panther

Hey Sticky - while the .dds file is now the right size, and it seems to have an OK alpha channel when I open up the .dds file in Photoshop, for some reason the skin still looks totally flat/dull/non-reflective in the viewer.

Please give it another look - if you can't find what's wrong either, let me know and I'll go ahead and submit it to 777 and let them try to figure it out.

Cheers,

Panther
