Here I present a skin selected by Josh and created by myself.
It's dedicated to Josh Echo as a kind of "community award" for helping many newer or intermediate players out in learning how to dogfight, setting up his own host. Thanks, great hints you gave me in our duels, and great duels those were as well!
The plane is called "Leid II", German for "sorrow".

EDIT: "Leid II" removed from right side of fuselage, now only shows on left hand side, minor fixes to stabilizer metal parts (some small ones were still olive not plain metal), file package updated:

Looks cool!

I've been playing on Josh Echo's server for the last couple of evenings. It's been a lot of fun. Best online experience I've had with the game so far. :D

Thanks! Thank you all!

No, actually it is based on a Jasta 23(?) skin, but I'm at work and can't look up. It was a skin of a pilot of this Jasta, just in red where I've done it in black. The metal work is based on my personal D.Va (thread hijack alert).

Funny thing is, I had to create a completely new template out of the basic one available for download, since my personalized and highly over-layered D.Va skin template didn't have the original lozenge camo anymore :P.

Are you working on Jasta 23b skins? I hope we are not doing the same ones :? I am working on Rumpel (green), Röth and Hohmuth.

Oh, no, Imp, just go ahead! But Theodor Rumpel it was, Jasta 23b, all red on all the wood parts of the fuselage. That's the one that inspired Josh Echo to ask me for this black one.

There were at least two, the one he flew in september 1917 was red and did not have the typical white band that the Jasta used later, according to rumpler himself all subsequent aircraft he flew after the red one were green.

Sorry, Imperator, but I don't have any background on German historical skins… I can't even argue!
