Hey Lucas - the whites on this one still seem very bright in that screenshot - is that screenshot taken with the HDR and Bloom settings on per the latest requirements, so this is as bright as they ever get in game? I've never flown with these settings on (until one test mission last night), so I'm not used to how these things look with those settings turned on (after previous exchanges with 777 about this issue on earlier skins, before the new color specifics were posted, I've just gotten to where I tone mine so far down with all these settings off that they said they looked OK with them on as well).

Panther,

The screenshots of the planes which I have submitted during the last two days, were taken with the Post Effects on, without bloom, high contrast or HDR.
As for the white color, we paid attention not to make it too bright and it's lightness is not exceeding the white color from the default skins.
In any case, Iam attaching few screenies taken with bloom on, hdr mono high and high contrast. Gamma 50% Time of day: 12:00

The white color looks 'that' bright because it is with contrast with the dark khaki and red color from the chessboards.

Yeah - but see the way the whites seem to be glowing on these last few screenshots? I'd have to let Vik or the other 777 folks give any sort of definitive reaction. Like I said, I've never flown or shot screenies with those settings on, so I'm not familiar with how they look under those conditions and I can't say for sure, but that seems to me to be the sort of thing they said they were trying to avoid.

OK Panther,

I have reuploaded the following packs:

- N.11 N.11 for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL
- N.17 N.17 for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL
- N.28 N.28 for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL
- Pup SP for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL
- Tripe ST for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL
- Camel SC for the Eskadra Szkolna / 1.PL

I darkened the white color by -15 using the color replace tool. Hopefully it will be acceptable now. At least the chessboards are not glowing.

But honestly, I'd greatly appreciate some post from Viks contains picture which would show what is acceptable and what is not. Or maybe some RGB values for the acceptable white color.

I thought he did mention some RGB values when he posted about the new requirements - I'll have to go back and see if I can find them.

[edit] In his post about the new requirements, Vik indicated "COLOUR BRIGHTNESS BY RGB SHOULD NOT BE OVER 90-110 BY EVERY CHANNEL" - I must admit I haven't gone into PhotoShop yet to figure out exactly what that means.

In his subsequent post about the rejection of certain too-bright skins from Volume 5, Vik indicated that "To make final skin brightness/contrast testing - you need to turn on bloom and HDR in the game settings, set your brightness to 50%, high contrast is on." So, I plan to use those settings when taking my screenshots of my new skins going forward, to try to make sure there's no problem with them.

Hope that helps a little anyway.

My bad! Thank you for catching this, Panther!

To check the values, you have to "pick" color from the .dds and to select the RGB values table on the right menu. The color will be read and the values for the R, G and B channels will be displayed. This is very, very useful and I would like to thank you again for your assist!
