After I reworked all the Albatros D series .psd templates, my personal paint schemes needed a grand overhaul… here it is!

Remark: this ought to be a replacement for my previous low-quality D.Va skin.

Download link (filefront) for the .dds package

Please also have a look at my D.III skin ;)

THANKS go out to von Huetz and Adam who supported me morally and provided me the camouflage scheme!

Luftfahrtruppen!

This camouflage scheme actually was used as a printed pattern fabric by the Austro-Hungarian Luftfahrtruppen.

I think that is fantastic work! Freekin amazing job on it! That metal texture on the struts is a bit odd though, might look better in a flat color.

I don't like the current "Phychodelic Sixties" swirl pattern … maybe its just me … but I liked your original wing pattern … your fuselauge is totally fantastic … regardles, it is your personal skin so I say "yes"

Yes, my previous one matched more tastes for sure… but I always waited for getting this historic(!) camo pattern… and therefore did my D.III in the other scheme.

Thanks DDawg!

You're right… I like it on my personal skin, but I'd omit it for a historic one… thanks, weighs a lot coming from a good skinner!

I like it, especially the psychodelic control surfaces. Makes me want a personal skin too.

 This skin is hideous, and yet I love it. Well done, Helmut. Glad it got the vote, but I won't be surprised if Viks gives it the axe.

I hope for the best, do you think this skin could pose a problem for acceptance?

I don't think so, you should have a look at the "blue monster" as I call it. It is a Dr.I that shipped with the first fictional skin pack. You will see what I mean
