Hi pilots,

Here is my personal paintskeme. Orange is the national colour of the Netherlands, blue the sky we fly in. German pilots were allowed more design freedom for their paintskemes then the allied ones, which is reflected in the designs.

As far as I can check, all my skindesigns meet the ROF list of requirements. (These are the first skins that I make for ROF)

I hope you like them and thx for voting

Thx ROF team for creating those excellent skin.psd files. A great joy to create with!

Cheers,

MACE

Hey there - I was trying to process this one for submission to 777, but I noticed that your .dds file is much smaller than normal. This usually indicates some problem with the way you saved down or converted to the .dds file, often having something to do with not saving the alpha channel properly. There are some threads in the general Skin discussion section of the forum about how to do this, depending upon which image program you're using to make your skins. (see here if you use GIMP: Dicta GIMP - your newbie guide to skinning or… ; or here if you use Photoshop:
Basics of the skinning.dds ).

I've extended the poll to give you a few more days to address this issue and get an updated download file link posted.

While you're dealing with this, please also correct your .txt file, Although you basically are using the correct new format inside the file, you're saving it as a .docx file instead of a .txt file (which means that I have to keep fixing it). I suspect that maybe you're doing that because you're having problems getting your Russian translation characters to display properly in your text file - if so, that's usually caused by trying to save the .txt file with "encoding" set to "ANSI" instead of using "Unicode".

Cheers,

Panther
