Try using a lighter gray/black (maybe around 20/20/20) rather than a pure black (0,0,0) - also, try dropping the opacity to between 80 and 90% or so, and try desaturating it by about 50 or so. Then vary to taste.

In Adobe Photoshop the black used for this skin was 1E1D1D or approximately 3 circles up from the bottom. By doing this I no longer have to desaturate or drop the opacity.

Hi Nova, hope you can do also the job for the Gotha, which is on pre-order?? Do not forget, as you know, I prefer the small wire spokes in the wheels

Yep I’m an 2009 Rof pre-order buyer and one of the few that did buy the Sikorsky game.

Dutch,

I will be painting a Gotha when I get one. I hope the wheelshaft is correctly designed for spoked rims. I had to redo a few of my planes back to plain rims because the wheel shaft didn't extend all the way through and you were able to notice that through the spokes.
