Thanks again !

This is stunning, I draw my hat to you sir!
I love the SE5 one, will end up on a few desktops I guess :)

P.S.: Might be worth considering a few of these as RoF loading screens…

Wonderful! Finally, an SE5a pic :)

Could you please make one about Rhys Davids shooting down Verner Voss?
Make sure you use the early skin with the blue dumbell. Voss' triplane has just been posted by Fubar.

@rOEN911: Youre doing a great job photoshopping there but there is one tiny thing to criticize: You dont leave the aspect rations of the planes correct. Some look squeezed. ie. the Pfalz and the SE5a.

Nop i think you are wrong ,depends the angle of the photo and the depth to the picture that i want to give by placing the planes like that.
I dont like just to have 2 or 3 planes in the canvas like you Pinning them there.I think if you download and look the photos in original size they looked perfect.
I spend a lot of time just to place them and take the correct shot just to make them look like real.

Your criticize is welcome anyway but i think that they are correct :P
Glad you like them,

cheers,

Its your Artwork and i like it bigtime. May just be subjective. I corrected the aspect ratio and this "feels" more correct to me for some reason.

Salute!

Sorry to say I agree with Winger. Especially the Pfalz and the SE5a do look a bit stretched.

You are wrong guys,
Here is the pick that i edit from ROF. http://img510.images...i/79917049.png/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://img510.images...i/79917049.png/
I just place it in the picture. Its better to download and see in the original size the photos. Now about the SE5A its a wide screenshot must have that
effect and again if you see it in the original format looks correct.
I dont know if i am wrong but in my Screen (26tft 100hz) they both looked very good :(

Yes That looks OK. Just like in my corrected version :). What i think is that in the process of transforming the layer to fit into your final image you might have missed to lock the proportions.
But hey, never mind… Great work!

I've said it once, but I'll say it again. Having these eventually compiled into an Artbook would be a great item in the "Store".
However, thank you again for your work.

That'd be expensive to produce though, this is already the reason ROF is distributed mostly digiatly. It's a good idea, only if the resources were available.

Thank you guys,but.. why you need to buy something that i want to give to you for free?I do this for my pleasure and only.
I have about 300 Art Screens of this kind, most of them from WW2 theatre and most of them are Historical. No i dont think i
want to sell them i just share them for free to you.At the moment i stuck with ROF Screenshots because i can recreate all the detail
again on the plane and i have almost a 3D look image and that is amazing, the simulator has awesome graphics and at the moment has the
best good looking WW1 Models in the world.

Cheers,

Ps : Any ideas about something new will be great because i cant think something good at the moment :D

This is only partially doable with RoF, but could serve to emphasize the point why some of us are hoping for this:

A Zeppelin breaking out of a cloud at dusk, probably approached/escorted by a few scouts…

You have to see this :)
Every time that I tried to go close to the observation balloon actually i cant get a wide shot of it,so i take 3 big shots by parts and then combined them in photoshop.Repaint and add light for my new Screenshot. This is a small part of the picture with the Balloon in WIP :)
The scene environment so far looks a lot like a real WW1 shot !
Note : Its need a lot of time to recreate all this wires and the small details so be patience !

In my mind while making this was that he "fall" from the Balloon with out parachute :P (early stage of war no parachute)
for this reason i "cut" some wires and place the basket in that position !I could do a parachute but i like it like that.
Glad you like them guys :)

Well, at the risk of plagiarizing a great book by Arthur G. Lee, you could simply call it "No Parachute".

Despite the historical rediculousness (Dr1 vs N17 over New York)……

….it's utterly beautiful!
