Yay I got in with an honourable mention.

My one is the SE5a at the bottom, you can tell it's mine because my bullets are missing.

A few people have suggested I might have used photoshop but I can confirm it's straight out of the game unaltered.

Someone also mentioned I might have bent the rules by not showing the damage model but the relevant rules just said -

"What does "aerial combat" mean exactly? Well, that means we want to highlight the aerial combat aspects of ROF. Such as shooting, damage models, fire, smoke, explosions and parts falling off."

I think it does highlight the aerial combat aspects of RoF, and thanks to everyone who said they liked it. If anyone wants a full size version just post your email but bear in mind RoF outputs very big .bmp files (about 7mb) and I'm not clever enough to downsize them (or, indeed photoshop them).

Hi Barry, Id love a copy of your entry, I think its the best of the whole bunch

If you are willing to make it available to the community there is a simple way rather than using individual emails. You could use one of the upload sites, i have put a link to a few below. you dont need an account or anything. I have used these to host skin packs etc and your 7 mb file wouldnt pose a problem.

http://www.mediafire.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.mediafire.com/

for mediafire just click on the big green box on the main screen

or

http://www.megaupload.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.megaupload.com/

just use the browse button then upload your file.

Once they are uploaded you can then just post a link to the upload page in the forums, hey presto anyone can have a copy.

Of course any of the entrants could do the same. If you put all the shots (plus some of your own if you want) you could easily make a great screensaver with all of these.

Your bullets arent missing, they just happen to be inbetween tracer rounds is all. You can see the shell casings falling off your upper wing. I know when I watch my video playbacks my guns flash and you can see impacts on the enemy plane but not the red streaks of the tracers.

You can see 4 tracer round bullets just to the left of the target plane and the left wire braceing.

Didnt notice the tracers, was only pointing out though that even if you didnt see tracers the bullets are still in there.

I wouldn't have noticed it or brought it up if you both hadn't mentioned it.. didn't notice the shell casings at first either, very cool.

Hi Barry, Id love a copy of your entry,……..

Flashman, thanks for the pointer, sorry for my delayed response, I've been on holiday.

I've tried to upload a copy as you suggested - here's the link -

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DE0SR1JA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DE0SR1JA

I hope it works. Perhaps everyone could put theirs up too.

By the way, congratulations to the winners.

Regarding my comment on the bullets being "missing", I meant missing as in not hitting the enemy aeroplane.
